I am Luka Lamaj, 21 years old from Tirana, Albania but I study and live in Canada where I study Biochemistry at Bishop's University. I have 3 projects I'm working on: Docere App, Cool Historians, and Lavel NFT.
My main project is Docere (where I'm the co-founder and CEO). Docere is a tech startup in the field of medicine and more specifically it is a communication platform (app) between doctors and patients so that medical examinations are done online with the help of features like 3D body graphs, payment of doctors with cryptocurrency, maps of doctors, etc.
As is the motto of our company: "Ars Longa, Vita Brevis" - "Life is Short, Art is Forever" we are creating a platform that will always be valuable for Canadian citizens. The idea for this app came to me last year when, during a visit to a hospital in Montreal, I saw that long and unnecessary queues were present. I was shocked and thought of a way to solve this problem. So, I immediately called my co-founder and CTO Rexhin Vorpsi to find a way that we could create a platform that would solve this problem. So, we built a talented team of programmers to work with this project and we are almost finished. The difficulty we are facing now is simply time, as coding and creating an almost perfect platform takes some time.
With this startup, I have won the third-place prize out of 200 companies from all over Canada, in a competition developed by the Canadian government organization CCSBE (Canadian Council for Small Business and Entrepreneurship) in collaboration with the University of New Brunswick. Docere is also now part of the World Business Angel Investment Forum (G20 affiliated partner).
We are currently in the process of fundraising (we have fundraised $10,000 so far) and during December we are planning to talk with Super-Angel Investors from Canada and America to invest in our company and early next year to launch the Docere App for Android and IOS... What is the next step after launching the product? Undoubtedly owning the entire Canadian market, and we are planning after that and entering the US market. But how are we going to enter the American market? By creating a meta-world for doctors and patients, so the appointments will be made with VR.
Prepare for the big revolution in the health care industry!
