I would also say the only reason I went to Dragons Den was because of the ability to see 8 months ahead and really achieve that delayed gratification. It was basically 6 months of cold calling and trying to link everything together just to get the opportunity to go try out for the show.
The ability to showcase to employers you started something from scratch and succeeded or learned from failure is so valuable in today's world… If you can start a business at a young age, it shows you have drive and the ability to push yourself.
